EXTREMELY STRONG AIR TIGHTNESS MEMBRANE FOR SARKING ROOFS

Belgapower PREMIUM is a vapor-inhibiting and airtight membrane with a sd value > 100 m for use in pitched roofs where the insulation is installed on the roof structure (sarking roof type). By adding an extra fleece layer in the top layer, an improved anti-slip layer is created. The fleece gives a slight moisture dispersing effect, preventing the formation of drips and thus preventing water from soaking into the insulation placed on top. In humidity, untreated coated products become extremely slippery. This can affect the installation time. The fleece also has an impact on improving tear-through resistance. When applied directly to the sub-roof, tensions can arise which, thanks to the increased tear resistance, will not lead to holes or cracks.
